Small and pretty medieval town classified as UNESCO World Heritage Site, with good wines, sunshine and its own version of macaron, although less attratcive than the internationally famous one. Anyway, here you won't have trouble finding souvenirs and gifts for your family and friends.

No, I'm not a Michelin star chaser, and actually I only dined in Le Bistrot, not in the Restaurant gastronomique 1 macaron. But since Place de la Bourse is a place you shouldn't miss when you visit Bordeaux, why not just go inside the magnificent building to enjoy the best view in town, as well as the delicious south-west French cuisine ?    

I haven't always been a believer of restaurant guide. But the fact is, in most cases we eat better taking these advices, especially in a tourist city like Bordeaux.
